Position Summary
We welcome an Associate Product Manager to participate in building new features for our electronic payment platform, from ideation to successful launch. As an APM your main responsibilities will include gathering product requirements, conducting business/system analysis based on the requirements, translating the business requirements into specifications for the development team, keeping the product operation of high quality, assisting in communication with external partners, prioritizing features, working with the technical team to deliver the solutions to the customer.
Key responsibilities
Product activities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business and system requirements for payment and invoicing solutions.
- Conduct business/system analysis based on the requirements and translate the business requirements to functional specification document for the development team.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system processes, user requirements, and business logic.
- Develop detailed user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring clarity for development and QA teams.
- Assist in user acceptance testing, ensuring delivered solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
- Assist the Product Manager in communication within group products and design teams.
- Close collaboration with dev. team (assist in handling blockers, dependencies, allocating the work to the team members)
- Assist the Product Manager to regularly communicate project updates and gather feedback from stakeholders
- Assist the Product Manager in collaboration with external partners and payment operators (Banks and other payment operators)
- Perform market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, technologies, and industry best practices in the electronic payment sector.
- Conduct detailed analysis of business data, performance metrics, and customer feedback to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Evaluate current workflows within the product services, identify inefficiencies, and recommend process improvements.
- Stay abreast of industry regulations, compliance standards, and security protocols related to electronic payments.
Operations
- Support the operations in resolving production or other issues and gather feedback for continuous system improvement.
- Analyze the alerts and raise with respective teams to resolve before any incident is raised, daily monitoring of Product health.
- Incident management and communication, identify the actions for the incident resolution, direct to development team in case of necessity
- Centralize and follow up the resolution of the support tickets and incidents
- Identify improvements to be put in place to avoid recurring support issues and incidents
Qualifications
- Knowledge of English and French is a must
- Ability to multi-task and work in a cross-functional and multinational environment
- Knowledge of product development lifecycle
- Understanding of Agile development processes and methodology, ability to work with technical teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage changing priorities.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related field is an advantage.
- Familiarity with electronic payment systems, financial transactions, and industry regulations is an advantage.
